We are proud to be Summerville’s newest pediatric dental office, providing comprehensive specialty care to your child in a convenient location! Here, you will find the highest quality care for infants, children, adolescents as well as individuals with disabilities/special healthcare needs. Our Pediatric Dental Specialists, Dr. Dorothy Baker has several years of specialized training at a university pediatric facility and is well qualified to protect and maintain your child’s oral health.  Our practice goal is to provide a positive dental experience alongside quality care in a fun and interesting environment. The most advanced techniques are being practiced throughout the entire facility, from the bright and sunny hygiene area to the wetlands themed waiting room to the tranquil treatment rooms.

Dr. Baker’s biggest challenge in the design of the practice was how she would meet the needs of both children and special needs individuals, many of which are adolescents and adults. It was her 8 year old son that came up with the idea to create a theme that would incorporate the Low Country marsh, landscapes and wildlife. She wanted to give this cutting edge practice a unique interior, breaking away from commonplace pediatric themes and styles. The inspired by nature interior of this practice is in keeping with the design for healing movement, using soothing colors, a plentitude of natural light as well as acoustic controls to maintain a quiet and pleasing environment.
